Stormalong Cider Launches New Apple Cider Spritz Line, Featuring Fresh, Whole Local Apples from the Northeast
Sherborn, MA — Stormalong Cider, an award-winning producer of high-quality hard ciders, is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Apple Spritz line, crafted from whole, locally sourced apples from the Northeast. This launch marks the debut of the “Captain Stormalong” line, a non-alcoholic line dedicated to high-quality, whole ingredients.
The Apple Spritz line is available in three distinct flavors:
• Awesome Apple – A crisp, juicy blend of freshly pressed, unfiltered cider.
• Bravo Blueberry – A tangy blend of freshly pressed cider and Maine Wild Blueberries.
• Captain Cranberry – A refreshing mix of freshly pressed cider and Cape Cod Cranberries.
“In our experience making hard cider, there is nothing better than the taste of carefully selected whole fruits that are freshly pressed,” says Shannon Edgar, founder of Stormalong. “Apples are at the core of what we do, but we also focus on other local ingredients, such as Wild Blueberries from Maine and Cape Cod Cranberries, which we’ve already been using in our hard cider portfolio.”
Much like Stormalong’s origins—born from a frustration with finding high-quality hard cider options—the Captain Stormalong line is designed to shake up the non-alcoholic beverage market. This new offering is crafted from whole ingredients, delivering a fresh, authentic experience unlike anything currently available.
“This product is personal for me. My kids love apple cider, but it’s frustrating to see them drinking these corporate juices made from concentrate,” says Shannon. “Most apple juice in the U.S. is made from imported, highly processed concentrate. It’s not as healthy or delicious as the locally sourced cider we make with whole apples.”
The Apple Spritz line addresses health concerns too. With a blend of freshly pressed apple cider, spring water, and light carbonation, each can contains half the calories of typical sodas and sugary drinks. The sweetness comes naturally from the apple cider’s natural sugars—no added sugars or artificial sweeteners like aspartame or sucralose.
The Apple Spritz line will be sold in 16 oz cans and will initially be available in the Northeast and directly through captainstormalong.com.
