Idaho Cider Fest – October 7th in Downtown Boise, Idaho
The heart of downtown Boise will witness history on Saturday, Oct. 7, as the inaugural Idaho Cider Fest comes to life from noon to 6 p.m. at the Freak Alley Gallery. This event celebrates the region’s burgeoning cider culture, as cider enthusiasts from far and wide gather to sip cider together!
The highlight of the festival will be the presence of an impressive lineup of nine cideries hailing from across the Northwest. This unprecedented gathering of cideries under one roof marks a milestone for the cider community, and attendees will have the chance to sample and savor an eclectic range of cider styles.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Downtown Boise Association will be on hand with DT Plays, offering a range of games like cornhole, putt putt golf, and giant Connect 4 that promise fun for all ages. Alongside the cider-centric festivities, local downtown vendors will showcase their wares, creating an all-encompassing experience that captures the essence of Boise’s vibrant culture.
Entry to the first Idaho Cider Fest is free, and tokens for cider pours will be available at $4.50 each. To sweeten the deal, festival-goers can purchase a bundle of five tokens online before the event and enjoy a 10% discount. Get your tokens here.
In support of the festival’s environmental priorities, attendees are encouraged to bring their own cups, contributing to an eco-conscious celebration that aligns with the values of both cider enthusiasts and the event organizers.
“We’re beyond excited to bring the very first Idaho Cider Fest to life,” said Molly Leadbetter, owner of Meriwether Cider and founder of the festival. “This is a huge moment for Idaho’s cider community, and we can’t wait to showcase the exceptional talents of our cideries, offer unique entertainment, and create something really special for our amazing community.”
